{{History}}
Seemingly lost forever in the Realm of Darkness, Aqua found herself standing before the Castle of Dreams, surrounded by a thick fog of Darkness, though with two faint glimmer of star-shaped light shining through. Aqua soon found herself wandering the halls and passageways in search of that glimmer, guided by a warmth in her heart, and given the resolve to move forward by the memory of her friends.
Deep in the bowels of the castle, in a room who's only noteworthy feature was a massive locked gate, Aqua finally caught up with the glimmers, immediately recognizing them as the charms she'd given Terra and Ventus. As she approached the lights - and ultimately the gate - the two stars joined together to form a key, which unlocked the way forward; a passage into the Realm of In Between.
After stepping through, Aqua found herself in a featureless Traverse Town alleyway, with absolutely no sign of the gate she'd passed through or the stars anywhere in sight.

- Barrier - Aqua's personal version of the Reflect spell, which she can cast indefinitely without tiring. It creates a barrier of light around her, which is capable of standing up to most (though not all) attacks.
- Blizzard - The lowest form of ice spell. Fires a large chunk of ice from the tip of the user's keyblade/hand. The ice launches forward in a linear path to strike and deal damage to anything in the way. Aqua can use this spell with surprising frequency without tiring much, due to her magical prowess.
- Cure - The lowest form of healing spell, capable of restoring minor wounds. Despite only being a low-level spell, even Aqua is in danger of running out of energy if the spell is cast too frequently.
- Thunder - The lowest form of thunder spell. Aqua's use of Thunder casts a ring of lightning around her, which causes a bolt of lightning to strike all who stray inside. The spell's range extends two meters out from Aqua's position.
- Prism Rain - A volley of rainbow-colored orbs are fired from the tip of the keyblade, which home in on enemies Aqua has sighted and deemed as targets. While being used, Aqua is suspended in the air, and can fire off more orbs, though in a smaller quantity than the initial volley, at regular intervals.

All that sounded behind Aqua as she stepped out of the overwhelming light of the gate was the silent click of it shutting closed. For several moments, she was left with nothing but to blink furiously as her eyes adjusted to the new, dim light, all while other sounds began to fill the silence that had followed the gate closing. She could hear the city before she could see it, with the sounds of people talking, music playing, and the general hustle and bustle of a cheerful town. Naturally suspicious, the blue-haired girl lowered into a half-crouch, right hand held open and off to the side in preparation to summon her keyblade, in case things started going south.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
However, when her vision slowly began to return and it became apparent she was in no immediate danger, her posture relaxed, body slowly straightening back up to a more natural pose. Head and body turning to gaze at every inch of her surroundings, Aqua found that she was far from where she'd been before; from the bowels of a stunning castle to what looked like a simple city alleyway, with only small cracks adorning the stonework walls. A quick look behind her revealed a similar small wall, with absolutely nothing to indicate that it had once been a gate connecting this world to the Realm of Darkness.
Slowly, the sound of her footsteps began calling out throughout the alley, approaching the entrance with what was likely far more caution than necessary, even going so far as to tentatively peak around the corner. Only to me met with the disarming sight of what looked like a trio of moogles wrestling in front of what seemed to be some sort of bar or cafe. Now more confused than worried, the girl stepped completely out of the alley, eyes scanning what was - exactly as it had sounded - a cheerful little town, despite how dark the theme of the place seemed to be. After locking her eyes on a sign that read Traverse Town, the girl slowly began to venture further from the illusion of safety her alley had given, first slipping into the first seat of the cafe she reached to rest her forehead in one hand and close her eyes, trying to get her bearings.
Still, despite her somber posture, anyone that looked could see a small, overjoyed smile on her lips.
